Barrow Borough Labour councillors have donated over 250 Easter eggs to organisations across the Borough for Easter this year.

Benefitting from these donations are Love Barrow Families, Barrow Community Kitchen, Leonard Cheshire, Project John Hub and Dalton Family Action.

Councillor Iain Mooney organised the donation on behalf of Labour councillors, he said, “children and their families have been hit hard over the past 12 months due to the changes associated with the pandemic. “Despite this, community groups like these have been working tirelessly to help those in need. “We want to give back to these groups, children and families to say thank you, and what better way than chocolate?”
