Welcome to my page.  I am the Councillor for Ormsgill along with Derek Brook and Bill McEwan.  I am a newly elected Councillor (2019) and I live in Ormsgill ward.

I have spent the last 30 years working in youth, community and education services in Barrow Borough and across Cumbria.  I took early retirement from my job as Principal Youth Officer and Manager of Targeted Youth Support in Cumbria and stood for Barrow Council in order to continue my involvement and support for local communities, including advocating for children and young people.

My leisure time is focused on my children, grandchildren, family, friends and extended community, with a bit of reading and travel when I can.
