£100 of goods and money donation to Project John.

Thank you to Cllr Iain Mooney for helping with the collection and drop offs.

Since lockdown, we have donated over £1000 worth of goods to the Foodbank.

Our councillors are currently working close with the Cumbria County Council Local Committee to plan new support measures for our area and services, in light of the government voting against helping children these holidays.

Our officers are working with Hubs and schools to identify families in need and deliver food and resources to them.

We are also putting thousands into hardship funds locally, benefitting many Hubs, schools and services all across our Borough, including Dalton and more rural areas.

We must ensure that children and families do not go hungry this Christmas.
