Sewing for Socialism, a group of enthusiastic crafters from Barrow and Furness Labour Party, have raised £110 for Barrow Foodbank selling their work at the virtual craft fair.

Hayley Preston,  a member of the group, commented, “Due to lockdown we had to change our group to virtual meetings and crafting at home, so we started crafting for charities. When we saw the virtual craft fair we enthusiastically signed up. With the increased pressure on the Food Bank we wanted to give back to the community using our various craft skills.”
